Priya Kumar is a renowned story teller and a motivational speaker. Hence through her book she weaves a story around life and death. Her story line has emotions, humour, and philosophy which revolves around the center theme of mental health.
About The Show: The show revolves around Karan Sachdeva (Arjun Rampal), the pilot of the flight which is going to be a doomed journey of several passengers. He is an ex Air Force officer and has suicidal tendencies. His past keeps haunting him. This disconcerting past makes him take the call of committing suicide while he is on duty as a pilot, which turns out to be a massacre of the commuters.
The story silently speaks about life, spirituality, motivation, self-care and depression which is not a much talked topic for the society. And negligence towards one’s mental health not only kills that depressed person but can kill many lives around him. The show is the exact replica of the plight of a depressed person, and how that can be hazardous for the people around him as he becomes the master of their life.

The series brings up various components in the plot. The narration is captivating and the plot takes us through the past lives of some of the passengers whose fate has brought them together on the flight to death.
Director Vijay Lalwani makes sure that the curiosity and the excitement f the viewer is gripped well throughout the show. The ace actors like Arjun Rampal and Sakshi Tanwar fortify the brilliant performances without any frills. Sakshi Tanwar plays the role of an ATC (Air Traffic Controller) who breaks the stereotypes of the men’s world being a ravising Air Force officer. The other actors like Javed Jaffery and Neeraj Kabi play their characters flawlessly.
Amidst the chaos of so many OTT platforms and numerous web shows, The Final call stands out being a no frill drama that contains brilliant performances and fascinating twists in the story line. It’s definitely not a typical thriller that just demonstrates some suspense with predictable climax. The show rises far above the ordinary story lines of a web series.
The Final Call takes us to a journey of life and death and in between the two, we experience many emotions of a human nature. This is a must watch drama to get a break for the usual plots of web series these days. Sit back and definitely add this show to your binge watching schedule this week.
